In atherosclerosis, fat, cholesterol and calcium build up in the artery walls over many years; the vessels grow stiffer and narrower, and blood reaches the heart, brain and legs less easily. The process stays silent for a long time and is linked with high cholesterol, high blood pressure, smoking and diabetes. “Arteriosclerosis / atherosclerosis” is intended to support the vessels and circulation through these changes.
