Ischaemic stroke is the most common type of stroke: a clot or atherosclerotic plaque blocks an artery in the brain, and part of the brain is left without oxygen. Risk factors include high blood pressure, atherosclerosis, raised cholesterol, atrial fibrillation and diabetes. The “Stroke rehab ischemic” complex is intended to support the recovery period, together with medical care and rehabilitation.
